TRAIN LIKE AN ATHLETE
A TRX is a system of ropes and webbing that lets you work against your own body weight. It allows you to perform a variety of compound exercise movements aiming to develop strength, balance, flexibility and joint stability all at the same time.
Because of its demands on your core, suspension training essentially turns every movement into a total-body one, reducing the chance of injury. The TRX is so flexible that beginners and athletes alike can attend the same class with everyone achieving their desired workout at the end.
The TRX Suspension Training system is part of our innovative strategy to bring you the freshest and most effective group exercise classes in the GTA.
TRX: Blast on Tuesdays @ 7:00pm includes more complicated, tougher exercises. The goal of this class is to use functional movements to improve different areas of the body at the same time.
TRX: Ignition on Thursdays @ 7:00pm features exercises that are easier to perform and we’ll take extra time to break down those movements. This does not mean this class is easy by any means, as our members will testify!
TRX: Flow on Wednesdays @ 6:00pm will take you through the mobility and flexibility components of the TRX, with the focus on stretching and strengthening the muscles. This class is great for all fitness levels and shows off the dynamic elements of the TRX.
Due to the intrinsic nature of this system, we ask that anyone doing the class for the first time to do our Ignition class on Thursday evenings. If this does not suit your schedule then please arrive 15 minutes before class so we can run you through a quick demonstration of the TRX.
